X-Kryptor
X-Kryptor is a range of multi-role, Dynamic-VPN products. X-Kryptor products are used to provide secure site to site, remote access and wireless LAN networks that play a key role in securing many government, military and law enforcement networks across the United Kingdom and Europe.
The X-Kryptor range consists of a dedicated hardware-based Dynamic VPN gateway and a software client running across a range of desktop operating systems. .Dual 10/100 Ethernet ports are provided that run at network speeds of either 25Mb/s or 100Mb/s.
X-Kryptor supports any TCP/IP network including:
- 802.11x Wireless LAN
- GPRS/3G
- Satellite
- xDSL
- Traditional LAN/WAN technologies
Transport and Tunnel modes are fully supported. With Tunnel mode, users can make use of the Stealth and Lockdown features. An X-Kryptor gateway running in Stealth Mode will not respond to unsolicited network traffic making it immune to many types of attacks. Similarly, an X-Kryptor Dynamic-VPN client running in Lockdown Mode will only communicate with authorised IP addresses keeping the client hidden when part of a public or untrusted network.
All products in the X-Kryptor range have undergone independent security evaluation by the UK's national technical authority for information assurance - CESG.- and are able to protect networks carrying UK RESTRICTED information.
